YES, YOUR CAMPER MAY HAVE THEIR CELL PHONE WITH THEM AT CAMP. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WE WILL MOST LIKELY BE IN A REMOTE AREA WITH LOW QUALITY RECEPTION. WE ALLOW CAMPERS TO BE ON THEIR PHONES AND CALL PARENTS DURING WIND DOWN TIME IN THE EVENINGS. WE DO NOT ALLOW PHONES TO BE OUT DURING ACTIVITIES AS THEIR SAFETY IS #1 AND WE NEED THEM PAYING ATTENTION.
PLUS YOU'RE SPENDING A LOT OF MONEY ON CAMP, YOU DON'T WANT THEM WASTING TIME ON THEIR PHONE. YOU WANT THEM TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AND PARTICIPATE!

YES, nestled in remote areas natural settings, our campers embark on an adventure-filled journey surrounded by the wonders of the wilderness.
As they explore the great outdoors, your children will encounter a variety of bugs and outdoor critters, fostering curiosity and appreciation for the environment. Our well-trained staff guides them in understanding the local wildlife and the delicate balance of the ecosystem.
Will my child's dietary needs be met?
Absolutely. We take every effort to ensure that all dietary restrictions are met, allowing your child to enjoy meals without worry. During the camper registration process, you will have the opportunity to provide detailed information about your child's dietary restrictions. This helps us create a comprehensive understanding of their needs and preferences. Safety is our top priority. If your child has severe allergies, please provide detailed information during registration. We maintain strict protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
WHAT ARE THE SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS?
Dorm-style beds are available to campers, providing communal atmosphere for all campers. Campers are required to bring their own sleeping bags and pillows to personalize their sleeping space, ensuring a home-away-from-home feel. Additionally, we require packing essential items such as shower shoes, towels, closed-toe shoes, a flashlight, a hat, sunscreen, toothbrush, hairbrush, and a bathing suit for a well-prepared and enjoyable stay. Embrace the camaraderie of shared accommodations while immersing yourself in the beauty of nature and creating lasting memories with fellow campers.
CAN I REQUEST MY CAMPERS ROOM ASSIGNMENT?
Room assignments at camp are designed to encourage participants to make new friends and build essential social skills.
We believe that learning to connect with new people is beneficial for your camper’s growth, whether they move to a new school, start a job, or leave for college. These social skills are invaluable for their future.
Additionally, if we make room assignments based on requests for one camper, we would have to do it for all, which is logistically not possible.
This policy ensures a fair and enriching experience for everyone.
WHAT SHOULD WE PACK?
Please make sure your camper is packed properly using the provided packing list. Here are a few important reminders.
Make sure to pack all necessary clothing, toiletries, and bedding items as listed.
Pack comfortable clothing suitable for various activities, and include closed toe shoes, and a jacket or hoodie for cooler evenings.
Please do not pack any perfumes or scented sprays. These can attract insects and animals.
Clearly label all items with your child’s name to avoid any mix-ups or lost items. Leave valuable items and electronics at home to ensure they are not lost or damaged during camp.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE CAMPERS WHO ARE HOME SICK?
At our camp program, we understand that campers may experience homesickness during their stay. We prioritize creating a positive and supportive environment to help campers overcome any anxieties they may have. Our approach is to keep campers active and engaged throughout the day, ensuring there is little idle time for anxiety to build up. We have trained volunteers who are empathetic and skilled in assisting campers through any challenges they may face.
We find that most campers who initially express a desire to go home end up having a fantastic time by the end of their stay. Our volunteers are dedicated to helping campers push through their fears and feel more at ease. However, we recognize that every child is unique, and if your child does wish to go home, it is your responsibility as the parent/guardian to come and pick them up.
We firmly adhere to the designated camp schedule and will not take campers back home before the designated end date. We believe that giving campers the opportunity to work through their feelings and enjoy the full camp experience benefits their personal growth and resilience.
It is crucial to ensure your child is mature enough and prepared for the overnight camp experience. Rest assured, we are committed to providing a nurturing environment for all campers, helping them build lasting memories and friendships. Our dedicated team is here to support both campers and parents/guardians throughout their time at camp. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. We look forward to welcoming your child to our camp program and creating an unforgettable experience for them!
